Our Pastor, Rob Greene, was born in Greeneville, Tennessee on March 29, 1974. When he was about eight years old, he walked an isle for salvation at Shady Grove Baptist Church. At 19, Pastor Greene enlisted in the USMC and served for four years. While in the military, Pastor Greene attended Maranatha Baptist church, which was pastored by Don Jones, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. His wife received Christ while in attendance at that church. When his enlistment was over he became a police officer in southern Georgia. It was in Valdosta, Georgia, at Open Bible Baptist Church, pastored by Carroll Joye, where Pastor answered the call to go to Bible college. He attended Hyles-Anderson College and was there for five years. While in college Pastor and his family were involved in the military ministry of First Baptist Church, of Hammond, Indiana. His family took care of nearly 2,000 sailors in their home, over the course of four years. While in that ministry he was led by a great man of God, Bob Hooker. Bro. Hooker taught our pastor how to have fun in the ministry! Our pastor and his family are actively involved in our church. We have a pastor with a heart for God and a zeal for souls. Come out and serve the Lord with us! You won't be disappointed you did!
